Iconographic Exploration:
In Search of Visual Treasures of the Past
In my artistic approach, I engage in careful and constant exploration in search of visual treasures buried in the folds of time. My iconographic and graphic work finds its essence in this perpetual quest, fueled by an insatiable curiosity and an ardent desire for creation.
My methodology is based on permanent vigilance, attention paid to every detail, to every visual clue that could arouse my interest. I am constantly on the lookout, scanning flea markets, old newspapers, family albums, postcards yellowed by the years, in search of these precious visual nuggets.
In these fragments of the past, I find an infinite source of inspiration. Each illustration, each trace of printing carries with it forgotten stories, emotions frozen in time, echoes of a bygone era. I am particularly attached to the atmospheres of the Roaring Twenties, to the passionate embraces of the 1920s, to the excitement of the 1930s, capturing these moments of a past life with a contemporary sensitivity.
Through my creations, I seek to transcend these stories from another time, to breathe new life into them in the modern context. My contemporary posters thus become the reflection of these forgotten epics, a bridge between the past and the present, between the experiences lived by others and my artistic interpretation. Each work is an invitation to travel through time, to explore the twists and turns of human history, to rediscover timeless emotions inscribed in the visual vestiges of the past.
