In a rush of freedom, an intrepid hiker majestically dominates the ocean horizon from the heights of his mountain bike. It is an ardent invitation to the “80 stages of the Royan hiker”, an exhilarating odyssey celebrating the 80th birthday of Jean-Paul Renard, a tireless resident of Vaux-sur-Mer, who passionately explores the coasts by bike.
Each year that passes is not a simple turning point in the calendar, but a conquest, an effervescent exploration. July 12 thus becomes a symbol of meeting to honor this man whose liveliness defies time, and whose love for nature is as vast as the ocean.
